Terms of Service

1. Who We Are & Acceptance of Terms

Trade-N-Post ("Trade-N-Post," "we," "us," or "the Company") is operated by Trade-N-Post LLC, a California limited liability company. By creating an account or using Trade-N-Post, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Trade-N-Post. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

• • You are responsible for your account and all activity on it
• • You must provide accurate information
• • You agree not to engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior
• • You must comply with all applicable laws

4. Trading Guidelines & Marketplace Role

• • Trades must be legal and above-board
• • Requesters must provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
• • Traders must arrive within the agreed timeframe
• • Both parties must complete the transaction honestly

Trade-N-Post is a marketplace that connects requesters and traders — we are not a party to the trade itself, and traders are independent users, not our employees or agents. You are solely responsible for your own conduct and for any in-person meeting arranged through the service.

5. Assumption of Risk — In-Person Meetings

Trade-N-Post facilitates in-person exchanges between users. You acknowledge that meeting another person in person carries inherent risk, and you agree to take reasonable precautions (meeting in public, well-lit locations; verifying the other party; trusting your judgment and declining or leaving any exchange that feels unsafe). To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from any in-person interaction with another user, and Trade-N-Post is not responsible for the conduct, safety, or actions of any user, whether online or in person.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Trade-N-Post as the merchant of record via our payment processor (currently Stripe). We are not an escrow service; trader payouts are held briefly per our published dispute-window policy and released according to these Terms and our in-app disclosures. You authorize us to charge your payment method for any trade you request.

7. Disputes

Trade-N-Post provides an internal dispute resolution process. Admins will review disputes fairly and impartially based on the evidence provided by both parties, and their decision on the resolution of held funds is final.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Trade-N-Post is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trade-N-Post LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service, any trade, or any interaction with another user — including in-person interactions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount of fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trade-N-Post LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms or engages in fraudulent or harmful behavior, with or without notice. You may stop using Trade-N-Post at any time.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing any claim against Trade-N-Post, you agree to first contact us to seek an informal resolution. Any legal action not resolved informally must be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Trade-N-Post constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Trade-N-Post LLC regarding the service.
